You might remember or maybe not that I formed a yahoo group just cause I
wanted a place to vent and didnt find anywhere suitable. Well we now have
100 members and a great wee group. I'm muchy proud!

Is the group if you wanna go take a look. It for people who consider
themselves "secondaries" though I dislike that label and is a place to vent,
share, and generally be.

Hugs x

According to Gooja, you never posted it here ("here" being alt.poly,
though there's no sign on u.p.p, either); if you had, I would have
suggested that you consider getting a list on polyamory.org for those
people who refuse to use Yahoo. (And to avoid the stupid ads.)

Hmm. well, you still end up with the footers, but you can usually subscribe
to a yahoo group purely by email without ever seeing an ad - just email
polysecondaries-***@yahoogroups.com from your choice of email address.

Aahz! I haven't seen you around for ages (since I stopped reading
rasff, probably).

I'm one of the people who won't go near Yahoo. I don't trust their
privacy policies (to "opt out" of their spam you have to go to their web
site and give even more information) nor their careless attitude to
copyright. It took me ages to get free of their spam last time I went
near them, and it took threats of bouncing all spam from and through
them back to their admin addresses to get them to stop.

And I hate spammy footers, I've unsubbed from several mailing lists
because of those...

Chris! I haven't seen you since I stopped reading rasseff, too. ;-)
(IOW, I've no clue which of us stopped first, and I don't feel like
checking Gooja.)

Sorry, my newsreader does that automatically and I have to remember to
delete the line.

Well, I dropped off in '96 because I didn't have access in Germany, and
since uk.people.sf-fans has been around I've mainly seen rassff via
cross-posts to upsff threads. I was thinking of you recently when the
"real name" thread reared up again.

(I break Rule 6 as well. Frequently...)

<nod> No big deal, and that's a sensible default.
